Previously Homeless Family Gets a New Car A previously homeless family receives a new car – at least new to them. Such a good news story. The family has gone from homeless to self-sufficiency thanks to the help from San Angelo’s many social services and support agencies. Wish we could help more.

We just received the tabulated results of the 2017 PIT Homeless Survey Results from the Texas Homeless Network (THN).
Homeless Awareness Day In conjunction with the 2017 Homeless Point-In-Time Survey on January 26, 2017, The Salvation Army hosted the annual Homeless Awareness Day. People experiencing homeless visited with representatives from 20 different agencies and organizations from San Angelo, San Antonio, and Abilene who provide support and services to our homeless population. The Mission statement needs to be shorter, more concise, and something that is easy to relay to others, the “elevator pitch”. This mission statement should include: Mobilize resources, seek/identify/help eliminate; The mention of or allusion to “continuum of
