Project ID Grant Approval Members – Happy to announce that the Coalition has been awarded a $6K grant for project ID. The funds will allows us to help the homeless get identification and other documents needed to get services. If you have any questions call Stephanie at Galilee CDC 655-6700. 2018 Point in Time (PIT) homeless count is scheduled statewide for Thursday, Jan 25th. The count consists of two separate actions: unsheltered and sheltered counts. We are seeking volunteers to help with the unsheltered homeless count. Volunteers will be expected to venture out into locations where homeless hunker down for the night beginning at 7:00
Previously Homeless Family Gets a New Car A previously homeless family receives a new car – at least new to them. Such a good news story. The family has gone from homeless to self-sufficiency thanks to the help from San Angelo’s many social services and support agencies. Wish we could help more.
